MEMORIAL DAY

A day of reflection...

Memorial day was originally called
Decoration Day.
It is a day of remembrance for those who died
serving our country.
There are small flags placed at all headstones
in national cemeteries.

Memorial Day has been observed since
The Civil War and has it's roots in Boalsburg, Pa.

Annually, the president lays a wreath at
The tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

While you are celebrating,
take the time to remember why.
