SNAKE IN THE GRASS ?


Nope...
It's Mr. Cardinal.


Whatever do you suppose he's looking for?



He was out there for at least ten minutes...
I don't think he found anything.


Maybe he's hearing things?




                               I think it's time they mowed.
At least they don't scalp us.

He might have been listening for worms like the robins do. Just a guess though. We don't have cardinals here.

Such a beautiful bird. I've never seen a cardinal in real life. They don't come this far north.

He really stands out against that grass doesn't he? I love cardinals. They are so pretty.

I have never seen in my life that kind of bird. Its feathers have a so bright colour!

I have a Mr and Mrs Cardinal visit me regularly...have cardinal feed in the bird feeder... Perhaps he was looking for his wife and she was out shopping :)
