IT'S SO FRUSTRATING...

Packaging can be a real challenge..
(Getting into it that is).

Last night I  needed some cheese for something I was making .
"tear along the dotted line".
What a joke.
Try as I might, it wouldn't budge...

It stays even fresher when you can't get it open.

I finally gave up and resorted to scissors.

 Then Step 2
Pull the  %#@&*  bag apart.

Same thing with the cereal box this AM..
( I did get that open with a bit of a struggle)

Don't you just love it when it finally opens
and its contents go flying all over the place??
That didn't happen this time but has in the past.

Then there are these packages..

These can cause some pretty bad  words cuts if you're not careful.

I guess I'm "starting" (hah) to show my age...
Keep those scissors handy...

LOL! I have the same problems! Also, a heavy box of cat litter is hard to get into!

We have moved often in the last few years. One thing I keep in my purse throughout the move is scissors!

Oh yeah...I know what you mean. I am right there with you. I think the companies are so busy trying to make everything child-proof so they can't get into things they are not supposed, companies forget and they are also making everything "senior citizen proof also" so we can't get into things in a simple and orderly way.

Oh I so agree with you and the zippers you're left with hardly ever zip back together. GRRR!!!!
Have a wonderful weekend.

This could have been me writing this post. Opening cereal in one of those bags is almost impossible. And anything sealed in hard plastic, it almost makes me give up! I was making grilled cheese sandwiches the other day and I couldn't get the cheese slices out from the plastic sleeve in time to put it on the bread! YIKES, are you sure I didn't write this!

Your post made me laugh because I am also frustrated by those same packages, and now keep 2 pairs of scissors in a kitchen drawer. :)

LOL- Oh- I HATE so much packaging that is out there today...and the reason all that plastic bubble sealed pack things are that way is because of all the THIEVES that steal things out of looser packaging in the store. Drives me nuts that we bow to the crooks and thieves!

Anyway, I use my scissors on everything and don't even try to rip anymore. I think it is a joke and they know you can't rip it anyway. xo Diana

ps- How many bad words do you know?

You're right on with this post! Hate today's packaging. When I'm an old lady, I guess I'll starve to death.

A universal truth!! I've kept scissors in my kitchen for years and if it doesn't come apart in one pull of the package, out come the scissors!
