Yesterday was a very strange day as far as the weather went..
Steady snow showers whose "flakes" melted as fast as they fell.

It  "snowed " all day with temps in the low 30's.
The shrubs looked like popcorn bushes or cotton, if you will.

It stuck to the ground in very unusual patterns.

I guess it only laid where the ground is still frozen.

the sun tried to make an appearance all afternoon.

Let's hope this was the end of it !!
My sister brought "Mr Froggie" to me the other day
thinking he would be cute on my bird bath.

I added a flag.
The birds are starting to ignore him.
As you can see,
it's frozen and snow covered  for now.

Have a sunny day.

The frog is adorable. At first I thought he was big....until I saw him on the bird bath....he is very small!! How can be deceiving!

We had six hours of snowing yesterday and then the big melt began and I could hear it dripping down the eave spouts that afternoon. Crazy springtime weather I tell ya.

Wouldn't suprise me if we all see snow in April this year! That frog is too cute!

Missy, We had the exact same kind of day, yesterday. Today the sun is out, but it's plenty chilly. I like the little frog, and the flag is great. Hope you get a warm up kind of day. xoxo,Susie

That weird snow has visited us too, for two days . . . although our visits left a few inches. Probably because we are still frozen solid with a couple feet of snow on the ground.

I am going to try a reverse psychology . . . Spring is not going to arrive for a few more weeks, months!

I like that water bath for the birds . . . where did you find that? And the frog, tell your sis, I want one too!

Oh my, as I scrolled down your blog and Mr. Froggie popped up, he provided a good chuckle. He is a happy frog and pretty darn cute!! I think it is time your snow left for good this year!! We are into our Spring rains with breaks of sun. It sure will make the flowers grow and the lawns are nice and green.

Well, I hope it IS the end of it for you. I am pretty sure it is NOT the end of it for us. I am so anxious for Spring and I know you are, too. Great pictures but a tad depressing weather wise!;.) xo Diana
