DAILY DOUBLE

Last weekend a group of us went out to our local track
for dinner, slots and the races..

I've been told that in Pa.,
to have a Casino there must be a  race track.

This horse decided to go it alone..Who needs a jockey ?
There were a couple of these rebels.

He was hard to catch making it necessary to gang up on him.
Of course he was scratched.

Coming down the home stretch....

An ambulance followed each race.

This horse wants to keep going long after the race is over..
"Whoa Nellie " !!

After each race the tractor did it's thing.

Some people come just to play the slots.

I bet on a couple of races...Won two, lost one.

And the winner is !!!

The food was good...
It was a long night but we had a good time.

Missy, Looked like a fun day out with friends. I have seen the sulky races in a town in our state, there's a casino there also. So maybe that's true about race tracks and casinos. I used to go to my brother's house in northern Indiana and he lived near the fairgrounds and we could see the sulkys there also. Their gait is fun to watch. Hope you are having some wonderful sunshine today. xoxo,Susie

Being a jockey is so terribly dangerous. I'm not surprised that an ambulance is there for every race.

That looks like a fun night, Missy. I have not been to a race track in at least 35 years. I loved the excitement that was generated around me- xo Diana

It sounds like a fun night out, Missy! It's good to do something different every once in a while.

Missy,

That different activity!

I've never been in equestrian São Paulo.

Like to meet.

My nephew who lives in São José do Rio Preto, makes riding lessons and loves. I even won some awards.

Honey, have a great week,

kisses,
