Several nights ago there was a period of flashing lights
outside my bedroom window.

Checking it out, I noticed that it was the local power company.

It was time for Mollies "nite nite potty" so we went to
check things out.
We live in  forty-fifty year old neighborhood that often loses
power somewhere.

I was told by the "power guy" that the feeders supplying electricity
from the main source only last about twenty five years.
I guess that is why we see a lot of this around here.

This whole street was just rewired..
I think it was for the street lights.

Have a wonderful weekend..

Interesting. Our neighborhood was built in the 20s. We even still have some of the old gas type fixtures overhead which my husband said was a bear to change. Our street is odd too, when our power is out the houses right across the street are still on and vice versa. Obviously different sources; a little maddening though when we've been out for hours and hours, and you can see lights across the street!

That is kind of freaky when you look out and see flashing lights at night, isn't it? Glad they are being pro-active and getting them replaced before there is breakdown of power- xo Diana

This might be a way to meet an "interesting person!"
Drive a big electrical company truck . . .
Flash lights . . .
Walk the dog . . .
Hmmmm . . .

Missy, That seems so much like us here. Everystorm or winter except last winter...we lost power out here...I thought it was old lines. Just our small area..we could see lights on the next seems to have been fixed, since we did not lose power but once and that was county wide. I bet Maxx liked checking it out though. Take care, hope you are safe and doing well. xoxo,Susie
