NEW FAMILY MEMBER?

This bird has been peeking in my windows for several weeks now.

He taps on the glass making me think there is someone there.
This usually starts around  6:30 AM.

Yesterday, he spent hours on this handle.

Poor max is getting a stiff neck.

I'm not sure what kind of bird he is..
His head and beak have me baffled.
?? Any of my birder pals know what she is ??
Female House Finch??

Very interesting, although I could live w/o someone knocking on my window early in the morning! It does look "finchish--" maybe a young one? Have Max ask it for us Ha, ha...

Don't know what it is but... Perhaps the poor thing is trying to mate with its reflection...?????

Hope it "sees the light" soon, or Max will really get a stiff neck!!!!

Perhaps you could push an ottoman over to the right of the door, and let him get up closer, but with a better view...? and then, he won't have to bend his neck so????

Hugs,
Tessa

I do like the one of the cat looking up! You can almost hear it thinking 'now how do I get this door open!'

Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne (for a couple of days!)

She is SOOO cute! I've had finches and cactus wrens come to my window and look in for a bit but they never stick around. This little lady looks like she DOES want to join the family! :-)
