NAP TIME

But what a strange place to nap..
He was just outside my front door.

Oops..I think I disturbed him but he didn't fly away.
I wonder if he has recently left the nest?
Do you suppose he sees  himself in the one way glass ?

He's more than welcome whatever the reason.

It's time for supper (presentation isn't all it's cracked up to be).
This is one of the two tomatoes from my vine this year.
I could have sworn I bought a larger variety
but this actually works for me...no waste..Yummy.
I borrowed some of Mollies chicken..

Oh yes! Bet he is a baby. Like the one my husband came upon, the other day.

These silly babies, lingering so near to humans.

You and my husband are nice humans, and did not disturb them, till their momma bird could call them to more safety. But still, silly babies. Best to rest, in more hidden spots.

:-)))))))

Your tomato is PERFECTION! Size doesn't matter. Just the glorious-ness of having a real, sun ripened tomato!!!

Still waiting here. -pout-

Missy, I like the roma tomatoes. They are tasty to me. It has that fresh summer taste to have tomatoes with lunch. We had grilled pork chops and corn on the cob yesterday. I sliced a tomato for Ted. Hope you enjoy your weekend. It's nice here so far. xoxo,Susie

Ah, sweet resting bird! That tomato looks wonderful!! I have 22 tomato plants but the tomatoes are still green. Usually harvest them early September. Can't wait. Nothing like vine ripened tomatoes warm from the sunshine.

Those tomatoes look good. I wonder if the bird had had an encounter with the window and was just getting its act back together?
