FLOWERS ABOUND

This summer with it's abundant rain,
has been perfect for trees, shrubs and flowers.

I forget the name of the "bee" in this Petunia...
It may not even be a bee..

The Hydrangeas are beautiful this year.
These were all pink at the start of the season.
I've been trying to acidify the soil so they aren't pink.
Seems to be working a little..

Oh how I love hydrangeas in any color. We have such a difficult time growing anything, it seems, and I'm just not willing right now to invest my time in gardening that may not pan out. So I shall enjoy everyone else's garden photos :-) Have a very nice day.

Ohhh those hydrangeas. Oh sigh...

I must have told you our story. Of how ours bloomed wonderfully at first, and then quit.

Happy Monday hugs,

Beautiful photographs . . .
Hydrangeas are gorgeous . . .
First shot of the butterfly is wonderful . . .
A great camera helps but you've got the eye girl!

Nice pictures.

I think your 'bee' is a 'clear wing moth' of some kind - Google it and see if you agree.

Hello Missy, I saw your blog on Nana Diana's blog. Oh my, this butterfly is so pretty. I can never get a good picture of the butterfly, as they fly away so quickly. You have such a lovely blog with many wonderful pictures. I see that you like nature as I do. It brings me so much peace. Me and my daughters also have a blog, and we would love it if you would visit and follow. I would certainly follow you as well. It's nice to meet new friends, and I hope to hear from you. Have a sweet day.
