There is nothing more spectacular than a fall sunrise
except sometimes a fall sunset.

I used to have a job that required me to leave my house at 5 AM.
I would drive across the Susquehanna river directly into the beautiful but sometimes blinding sunrise.

As much as I love all of our trees,
they obscure the sunrises and sunsets.

True....driving to work made us a captive audience. I remember driving home into the sunsets. Unfortunately in those days I missed the sun as it came up. Now I get to treasure both! May your life be filled with beautiful sunrises and sunsets!!!

Oh - My heart took a leap when you mentioned driving across the Susquehanna. I did that for so many years when I was young. I was just looking out our window and our sky is that same color this morning. Beautiful! xoDiana

I noticed the other night that a big half Harvest Moon was riding so low in the sky that it was barely above the horizon.

Missy, I live in the country and still can't get good sunrise shots. There are woods down the road and they block my views.LOL.. Your pictures had pretty colors. I love seeing pink in the skies. Driving to work...I kind of miss those days...maybe it's how much strong I was back then or the camaraderie of co-workers, or both. One day I remember heading into work , with a beautiful sunrise, and I just kept on driving to my daughter's house in northern Indiana. LOL. Called the boss after I got there. Oh the good old days. Bless you Missy, you just got me too laughing about this. xoxo,Susie

Pretty! There are too many tall trees around me to see a sunrise or set. Miss it!

We live amongst the trees and miss both sunrises and sunsets. I do appreciate seeing the colors through the trees though.
