A VISIT TO ONE OF OUR LOCAL NURSERIES

Is everyone full of turkey?
Now it's time to go shopping...Not I folks.

One of the stops my sister and I made last week
was at one of our local nurseries.

One of the stops my sister and I made last week
was at one of our local nurseries.

We had lunch and wandered around a bit.

Bulk bird seed...

There was a table at which one could make peanut butter and birdseed ornaments.

Ann thought she would give it a try.

We left it there for someone else..a bit messy.

I have to say that each year I am disappointed with this business.
It has been around forever..at least 50 years.
It was taken over by the employees  maybe ten years ago.
Since then, the prices have skyrocketed and they don't have the selection they used to have.
These were all the Poinsettias that were there and this was the day after their open house.
This room used to be at least half full of them.

Both of our nurseries have gotten into clothing for some reason.

I'll try to get my camera over to the other nursery
in the next week or so.
Have a fun weekend...Good grief, it's almost December!

Clothing at a nursery? Don't know about that. Pretty displays. It's nice when you get to see different colored poinsettias altogether. The "make a birdseed ornaments" table is neat; I hope they had baggied or something to put them in.

I love looking at all the nursery plants but I get that they need to move away from the clothing and purses...ugh. I liked it when a store was a store of a certain kind of item. Fun to see some Christmas decorations at a nursery.

Hello, looks like a nice nursery. We have one similar here, that has been around forever. Looks like the birds would have a nice treat. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

I enjoyed the look around the nursery. Sorry it was a bit disappointing for you. Yes, it's hard to believe it's almost Dec.

Looks great though, sorry you are disappointed . . .
(I still think I need to live next door to you!).
(Send me information please!)
(Seriously . . . I told my husband, I want to move to this Pennsylvania place!)
