Mollie and I went to visit my old neighborhood
and stopped in to see my ex next door neighbors.
Their daughter was visiting with her daughter
who was enthralled with Mollie

I can't say that the feelings were returned.
She's great with little ones when they are confined to a stroller.

Living with me, she's not used to a lot of commotion.
Being chased , poked at and loud squeals
are not on her list of favorites.

She spent most of our visit on a lap or on the back of a chair
hopefully out of harms way.

They were good neighbors and it was good to see them again.
They probably had a lot to do with my getting Mollie.
There was a ton of encouragement along those lines.

A baby shower was being held the next day for their younger daughter and Deb , who is very creative, had made these
centerpieces for the tables.

She is having a boy and their theme was travel/adventure.

They have traveled a lot and believe they are still going to be able to continue doing so...We'll see.

It was a nice visit..good to see them.

what a cutie ... she loves Mollie, i know we had a family over at our house buying some junk (should say old treasures) we are selling & the little boy got the neighbors dog to come over a jack russel & i was like i have never seen this dog ever leave his yard ... it meant a lot to the little boy he thought the doggie was too too fun. it was fun time.

Yes, sometimes dogs aren't used to little ones, and some dogs adjust right away too. Those centerpieces are amazing!

Missy, That little one was so cute. I know what you are saying about your pets are used to being around only one person. The center pieces were adorable. Glad you had a fun time. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
