AS SEEN ON OUR WALK

'

Several days ago I saw these plants along the side of  the path that Mollie and I walk almost every morning.
The next day I took my camera ..
Pretty colors, don't you think? Wild Raspberries.
I just noticed the stinkbug on the leaf...

I believe this  to be American Pokeweed tangled in with the Raspberries.
It is poisonous to humans and dogs but not to wildlife or insects.

On our way home we spotted some geese flying South.
Now that the field has been cleared,
it will be loaded with them.
It's a favorite stopping off place.

Oh I love the colors of late fall, such a deep red of those leaves. And somehow it's always thrilling to me to see a line of geese overhead and hear their honking conversations. Have a nice weekend, Missy.

I was just trying to identify some red fall berries from someone else's bird pics, so I looked up here.

Aren't those berries in your second pic American Pokeweed?

We get lots of canada geese in the field near to our house in Winter. I really like the look of your cat and your dog, they look like great pets.

Beautiful photos! Pokeweed is one of my favorite berries of fall! That garland of geese is beautiful in the branches, too!

This is a really great post of wintry scenes we don't get down here in central Florida. Thank you so much for sharing!
