Off we go for our morning walk.

For some reason,
this snowfall doesn't seem as pretty as others to me.
Maybe it's just too much.

The sky is very blue...reflecting against the snow.

I hope these roofs can withstand the weight of this snow.

The trees have gotten shorter..

The deer and fox run through this area regularly.

Looking down my street..

My house...

Saturday night they did an "in case of emergency" plowing..
Sunday they refined their efforts.

I hope that this is it for awhile!!!

Through all this, we had beautiful moonlit nights.

Snowy world for sure . . .
I would say, LOTS of it!
I agree, the trees are REALLY getting shorter!
Here's hoping you'll have a chance to build ONE snowman!

Yes, whoever does your yard maintenance should get out the snow rakes and get that snow off the roof, if only to prevent ice damming and eavestrough damage.

Missy, You have a lot of snow , my gosh, more than I would ever want at once. Your pictures are so nice , that blue sky. The sun might lift some spirits there, hope so. You mentioned the weight of the snow on houses. I saw where a foot of snow on the roof of a 1600 sq. foot home would weigh 14 tons. That a huge weight. Blessings to you and sweet pets, xoxo,Susie

Hello, pretty scenes from your neighborhood. Your house is pretty. I am hoping we do not get much more, this snow needs to go away. Have a happy day!

Wow- That is a whole lotta snow, Missy. We are used to getting dumped on here but this year we have only had one big snow so far. I don't mind a good storm but I do think when you get so much snow it falls out of the "pretty range". However, your home DOES look pretty! Trying to get a few blog visits in tonight while hubby is feeling good. xo Diana

Wow! Sally's been telling me about your record snowfall, but seeing your photos really tells the story! I can't imagine how y'all cope with this! If we ever got that much snow, Atlanta would come to a screeching halt until spring! Your pictures are amazing.

Wow! You got hit! Reminds me of the snowpocalypse we had in Chicago a few years ago. When there's that much snow on the ground, it feels like spring is never going to arrive.
