The corn field bordering our property
(actually, we own a lot of it now)
is about done for this year.
We walk the path along it several times a week.

There are weeds all along and thru the corn
that have pretty flowers.

I have picked them in the past but they don't last even in water.

Hello Missy, pretty images. I agree some weeds are beautiful. I like the color of the pokeberry. Have a happy day and new week ahead!

Missy, I have always like that tiny wild flower that looks like a daisy. I don't think I have ever seen those berry plants. I have picked clover and queen anne's lace from the ditch before. I like those cornflowers too. We have had the most wonderful weather the's coming to an end this weekend. Hope you can enjoy your longer. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

I felt like I was right along for the walk with you, Missy. Those berry/pod things at the end are really quite pretty, aren't they? I saw some milkweed pods there, too. We don't have those here. xoDiana

Great "walk weed finds!"

Those are milkweed pods, then looks like yarrow, then fleabane, then maybe a type of goldenrod, then pokeweed. What delightful things to look at while you take your walk.
