Why is this squirrel jumping in and out of my Lilac bush?

He's nibbling on something..but what??

Different squirrel.."Stumpy"
Not a great picture but
"Stumpy" has been around for three or four years.
I think he was a victim of a Hawk attack..
half of his tail is gone and I remember seeing the rest of it
up by the ball field several years back.
Hasn't hampered him a bit..

I hope everyone had a good weekend
and a Happy Mothers Day.

Cute pictures, Missy. We have a lot of squirrels here too. I hope you have a very nice Monday.

Crazy animals! I wonder what the possums get to in our garden - all we find are eaten flowers and the inevitable consequence of eating!

Bet "stumpy" is eating the lilac flower . . .
Silly Squirrel . . .
I was walking through the yard yesterday and saw a chipmunk in a nearby tree,
I walked over, could have grabbed him I was so close . . . but then he saw my
beady eyes and he "booked lickety split" . . .
Those chipmunks are the most destructive little varmits ever . . .
They are not cute like those cartoon chippies . . . at all!
Nice day for me, how about you?

We had a squirrel with half a tail years ago, too. Often wondered what happened to it.
You got some good pictures....wonder if that first squirrel buried something there last Fall and is just now going after it?
Hope you had a great day yesterday and that you have a great week ahead of you. AND thanks for visiting my blog! xo Diana
