FINCHES AND CONE FLOWERS

I had forgotten how Cone Flowers attract Finches.

They find the seeds a delicacy and spend hours harvesting them.

Taking their pictures tends to scare them off.

Have a beautiful week.

Hello Missy, I love the coneflowers. We have a clump of them growing too. The birds do love the seeds. Lovely photos. Happy Monday, enjoy your day and new week!

Hello Missy!:) What beautiful images. The cone flower attracts not only butterflies and bees I see. I didn't know it attracted finches.

Missy, We used to have cone flowers here...I do not know why they stopped coming back. We always hung a finch feeder near them. So maybe I will plant them again. You still managed to get some pictures. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

I never knew that about cone flowers. I love those flowers. I tried growing them once but they didn't last long. I should try them in a different spot.
