She was in this box before the packing was out of it....
Definitely a favorite "toy"....
This bird is unable to straighten out its legs.
I'm not sure what's working in it's feet..I don't think it
can grasp its' perch.
Is this a juvenile Cardinal??
The garden behind my house needed some serious attention....which it got!
I wasn't able to do it but I knew who to go to...

It is quite obvious that everyone should have a Juan in their lives. I bet you smiled at him seductively and said, “Wanna trim my branches, Juan?” and he was over faster than the proverbial speeding bullet. Such is the way of things in southern Pennsylvania!
A new box is such fun! Who can blame her for commandeering it right away? And thanks, I was hoping you'd have some more lovely watercolours to show us. That second one with the stone house with the red roof reminds me very much of the type of old architecture often seen in Quebec.

Isn't it funny how much cats love boxes? Our cats always loved open paper bags, too. That is sad about that bird. It's almost like her foot got caught in something...poor thing. Yay for Juan. We all need someJuan in our lives...oh-sorry- you know how I am. Love ya, my friend- xo Diana
